The evening air was cool, but the good kind that felt refreshing and telling of a good autumn. You were thankful for this as you sat, hugging your knees, on a bench outside of your apartment complex’s door. Your keys were in your bag that was in Levi’s car, but that was only a portion of your problems at the moment. Your body trembled slightly as you sat there, trying to keep your tears at bay you had struggled to work down. Too many things were rushing through your mind, and too many of them concerned your parents. You had done your best to put those horrible memories behind you over the years…you had just begun to put that day behind you… And now, there was Levi. Levi, who was there, and saw everything… You hadn’t meant to yell like that. But now all he did was remind you of that day again. Levi’s face and that day…were becoming quickly intertwined. And you really didn’t want that to happen. Because as angry and upset as you were now, you didn’t want to feel that way toward Levi.
